well............................ maybe. but, if you want and rc10 with an mip 4x4 conversion, you'd buy it.

ya, but $1500 is for the bin. you could get it for $999.99.

last year around this time there was a bunch of kits that were selling from $800 to $1200.

Interesting to note that this is the earlier version of the kit (no slipper rear pulley).

I have sold 4 kits in the proper original box for around the BIN price of this auction.

If you love MIP conversions - these are the ducks guts!

Looking forward to building mine for sure.

Cheers

Darryn

The price may seem high but these are highly coveted conversion kits hence the high price.

Darryn, did you get my PM? Your e-mail address came back undeliverable.

If I had the dough, she'd be mine. I got some RPM v-treads that need a 4wheel drive to get dirty.

Yeah, based on the selling prices of those kits in the last year or two, that asking price for NEW stuff is very reasonable.

Not for me, but I can appreciate the sale.

Unless of course you can find an RC10 for sale on fleaBay that just happens to have the MIP conversion parts included (and shown in the background of the pictures) (for those of you that missed that auction, like myself and know which one I am talking about...I'll take the liberty in speaking for all of us....DOH!!!! lol)

Also every once in a rare blue moon the parts can be found individually from time to time, but expect to pay a hefty price for each one....and be waiting awhile to amass the necessary equipment

Another thing, Can anyone identify if the parts listed are 100% the entire kit. I was looking at and it seemed like it may be missing parts. Nothing sucks worse than paying an astronomical price for rare parts and not being able to do anything with it.

4wd RC10's are cool. But imho, they are nowhere near $1500 cool.

I'd take a mint Optima or Optima mid or Yokomo over one any day, then I'd have an extra grand left in the bank and a better car on my shelf.

Tell us how you really feel,

Yeah, I got a spot on my shelf for an optima and one day, I'll have one. Those appeal to me more than the 10's do. The 4x4 10s that is.
