RC10B44.2 Standard or Metric?

I bought a 44.2 from EBay. I wanted to do a tear down on it so I could reassemble it back myself. To push me into doing this I would buy a stainless kit. I tried doing searches on here and found others have posted places they go for their screws. I could piece a kit together or buy a premade kit.

Either way the question of Standard or Metric comes up. http://www.rcscrewz.com/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=ass047&search_in_description=1&x=0&y=0

How to I know which version I have?

I was thinking on doing the same for my RC10b3 as well as my Yokomo MX4.

Mate, if you look at the details in the Metric Screw Kit, it says "General Metric Conversion Screw Installation & Notes: When converting from standard threads to metric thread.....metal parts must be re-tapped for metric threads. All wheels nuts will remain standard thread in our kits for axles.". To me, this means that the car as standard is not Metric, and you'd be converting to Metric. So it would be a very high chance that your car is not Metric.

As for the idea of something being "Standard" or Metric.... here in the real world, Metric is the standard.... so you won't hear me call Imperial "Standard"... but that's just me!

Hope that helps.... well, the first bit, anyway....

Simplest way of findign out sizes needed is to download the manual from Associateds website.
http://www.teamassociated.com/manuals/B44.2/
According to that the screws are all UNC, not metric.

I read it the same way but I wanted to confirm it. I was told last night everything was standard. The b5 was the first on metric. I have the parts list from the PDF's using that I picked out the sizes from http://www.albanycountyfasteners.com/default.asp

Prices are crazy cheaper so I added sizes to work for the B5 and Yokomo as well. ;)
