TRX1 rear suspension arm mount
Hey guys.
For those who are running TRX1: do you use 0° (2797) or 1° (2798) for rear suspension mounts ?
Also, what about the amount of caster shims in the rear side (1934) ?
Specially for slippery and dusty tracks.
Thx,
Hugues

Re: TRX1 rear suspension arm mount
Check this out. In this directory, you will find the tuning guide portion for the TRX-3. This tuning also applies to TRX-1 as both cars have near identical rear end setups. Hope this helps.

Re: TRX1 rear suspension arm mount
Merci Pierre. Hope I understood everything well.
So adding 1° on toe in in the rear will be done with the optionnal traxxas part 2798 for a total of 4° each side (according to TRX-1-3 documentation).
For rear caster, the std is 3°, and the caster shims are 1,5 and 3°. I will add 1,5° for a total of 4,5°.
I noticed also your slipper recommendation.

Re: TRX1 rear suspension arm mount
Sorry I don't remember the rear arm have toe in.
I don't have the tuning guide, you can mount like the notice
the best set up for start.
-On slippery track, put more toe in
-On very bumpy track more caster
-On flat track without jump no caster
And for the slipper , Watch this:
