anyone see the spring checker from gforce yet ?

Looks pretty neat. I use something like that for valve springs to check their rate and determine installed height etc. With that thing though, the height scale looks like it's only marked every cm, seems hard to get an accurate amount of compression, and hence an accurate force measurement...

Ah, you're right, I see it now. I guess my eyes aren't getting any younger :P

Mk-zero has a valid concern though. Yes the side has graduated measurements, but the device really needs to have an adjustable down stop in order for it to be truly accurate. Otherwise one will be "eyeballing" all of the springs measured with regard to dimension compressed.
