Picked this up off ebay the other day with the intent of building it up to race next year at the Vonats in truck class. It'll be my first time racing the 10T ever.

Got everything for about $80 shipped to the house. It is surprisingly in much better shape than it looks. Incredibly dirty, mostly dust. Motor and ESC are in excellent shape after a little cleanup. Not that that really matter since they wont be used in this truck, but the modified Kinwald motor looks almost new. I really like the black HPI 5 stars, they have no road rash on them. Body went in the trash. Too bad, it was the Team body. It looked OK from a distance but up close it was pretty thrashed. Shocks look great other than being dirty. Tranny is smooth.

I guess I'll start the teardown and build of her next year around the first of September....

Just kidding...

But not really...

Looks like a decent buy, that's for sure.

If those are Pro 90's on the rear and you want to get rid of them I'll gladly buy them from you.

Pure nostalga for me. That exact truck was my first ever real RC, got it around 96 or 97. All black and gold shocks.

I bought this big, thick (.040) flat piece of lexan here to make an under tray for the 91 stealth replica and I used a scrap piece from that for the spoiler.

You could use the Team Associated asc7185 truck spoiler. You can still find it for about $2 and it supposed to be for the T2, GT and other truck bodies. Just trim to fit.
