Hi all, I haven't posted on the web site for quite a while, had some health issues for a while now, but I have slowly been building and still collecting, still here's my latest nearly finished project, a 2 speed Radiant, with Race Prep shocks and suspension arms, I'll be adding some photos of my AYK Boost shortly as well.
Cheers Bullfrog

Never have seen an AYK like that, pretty wild - love the paint :!:

I also love the paint job, and consistency with the colored parts and the Radiant gold wheels are the cherry on top! The wider tires on the front and backwards-pointing rear tires are kinda weird, though.

Nice Radiant! I love the paint schema that looks periodic correct. Could these Race Prep suspension arms be Hot Trick manufactured?

Thanks guys for the comments, Jirka the suspension arms, I'm not sure if they are made by Hot tricks, but packaging was all Race Prep, maybe someone can answer that question, Coelacanth, Rear tires are the correct direction as per the instructions. also front wheels are Race Prep option and have one way clutch bearings in them.
cheers Bullfrog

It seems you're absolutely correct...this just looks better to me, at least the fronts. Maybe because tractors and monster trucks like the Blackfoot/Monster Beetle/Bruiser all have their treads forward-pointing V's. But the Radiant box indeed shows the V's pointing backwards. :?

Get a matching set of Race Preps and it won't matter anymore. :P

Looking really great! :D
The plastic red wing/spoiler thing, is it meant to work as a spoiler? I have one of those but never worked out where it should go...

Are you referring to the angled Kydex parts just ahead of the rear wheels? Those would be nerf guards...for side impact protection.

Those shocks are not very good...leak all the time.

Great build anyhow

They look exactly like the original Optima/Ultima red shocks...which were indeed quite leaky.
