More options on the 2.0 (shocks, shock towers, chassis...) and a different weight balance (more centered on the rear)
the 2.0 is a real racer, the SCTE need some options to become one.
the SCTE is assembled, wich is a bad point to me, i had to disassembled mine entierly to see that diff weren't build with the same gears...
screws too much (or less) tight...
first and last assembled kit for me.
After all, the SCTE is fast and reliable, one of my favorite car !
I never run a SCTE 2.0 but i suppose is pretty good, and for the price... i will say it's depend on how you'll use it.
For racing, take 2.0, it will cost less than a scte at the end.
For bashing or club racing the SCTE will be enough.
hope it could help
PS:I'm agree with losixxkid, the SCTE maybe old but not vintage
