I'm sure most of you have seen ground and/ or aerial photo's of some of the worlds aircraft, tank and shipping junk yard's so after a short internet search I was curious as to whether anyone has the R/C equivalent of these...

Cars either just abandoned and left to rot or all beat up with missing parts and peeling paint. 8)

I don't have any basket cases but some of you must have at least one that qualifies?

I don't think you could top that one, unless they open another garage door... Lol

Holy crap...now that's a person with hoarding issues! I bet you couldn't pry even one of those junkers from his cold dead fingers!

Now THIS is a topic I can do!!!!

I can in no way replicate that famous open garage hoarder shot...... but if I get a chance today, I'll try and take a snap of a couple of my specific junkyards:
- RC10 B2/B3
- Tamiya TL-01 and clones
- Schumacher 2wd (nitro 10 and electric)
- PB Mini Mustang box of glory...

Will keep the interested updated...

Alex

iirc they were taken as "trade ins" so no real attachment to them

What the heck is the blue-green buggy front and center? There's a good side view of it there. Weird looking buggy.

I've got more RC junk piled up in boxes than I care to photograph. Nothing extreme like that garage photo though. Here are a few of my faves.

My RC12E junkyard dogs. These will all be up and running in the near future.

Here is one of the RC12E junkyard restorations. Getting ready to slap some paint on it now that fall has arrived. Too darn hot to work on anything during the summer here in Texas.

Box o' 1/10 pan cars all awaiting restoration. Have a RC10 on road project in there too. I'll get started on them one of these days. Perhaps next year or so. :P

Hooo those two 834's...

that famous "hoarder" pic is rumoured to be linked to a trade-in offer done by an italian manufacturer (mantua iirc) many many moons ago... we'll never know for sure I guess!

Was going to say that I don't recognise any of those buggies specifically - but they all look like 1/8ths & they do have a Mantua/Garbo look to them.

If anyone was interesteted.....

- RC10 B2/B3

- Schumacher 2wd (nitro 10 and electric)

I thought the TL01 and Schumacher junkyards were looking a bit sparse, but then I remembered that I'd used a TL01 chassis a few days ago to replace a broken one..... and then I found another Schumacher Nitro 10 chassis......

I have a problem with broken shiny things.......
