I'm setting up two F1 cars for a friend and wondering if anyone has any set up tips for link cars. These F1 cars are a bit different to pan cars in the front shock set up.
I've always tuned my pan cars with the rear pod as soft as possible just shy of lifting the inside front tire to maximize rear grip, then dialing the front to suit. The fastest cars I have driven have just had the "double steer" or "wobbles".
I've never really played with center shock angle but I suppose it's the same principal as shock angle on an offroad car?
Weights on the rear pod are another thing that I've never done. Some say as close to directly under the axle is better while others say as close to the pivot ball. I can see the axle as an ideal point as the weight has the least movement.
