Not sure why I didn't start a build thread soon in the build but never too late. I suppose because I'm not doing too much outside of the box on this one.

Here is the list of mods and aftermarket parts
  • sand down the edge of chassis
  • JConcepts Ti turnbuckles
  • JConcepts Wing buttons
  • JConcepts black motor mount
  • Associated big bore shocks
  • VTS slipper assembly
  • bearings on bellcranks

Since this is going to be my second racer, why not keep the same paint scheme, but with a Worlds twist :D

Work on this build has been slow but not forgotten about. My goal is to have it done by spring, so it's all good. I'm still waiting on some parts, but for now I got front big bore shocks and the electronics squared away. The rear big bores and motor plate are waiting for me at the LHS. The turnbuckles are on backorder, springs I haven't thought about yet, and I'm sure there are some other things I need too but it will all come together soon enough. Besides, I have a NIX91 car to build soon too

Keeping it traditional and using a LRP esc and a Reedy motor accompanied with Futaba rx and servo.

Looks awesome I'm sure it will be a blast to race. What type of front shock tower is on the other car? I really like how it's braced across the top..

Got a bit more done today. I picked up my JConcepts TI turnbuckles, wing buttons, motor plate and big bore rear shocks. I have the turnbuckles and motor plate installed and I should get the rear shocks done tomorrow. I'm picking up the springs tomorrow too

Nice build and you added some bling big bores shocks! 8) I was checking out those links on the bay the other night and they looked really nice. Are you happy with them?

Thanks, I thought it was a good way to incorporate the Worlds theme into the racing scheme I have started.

All that's is left now is the VTS system.
