For some odd reason I remember someone mentioning the early edinger cars had smooth(no ball or pivot) upper shock mounts? I don't know if I'm coming out of left field with saying this but I found these while organizing and cleaning my parts boxes and that's what came to mind when I saw these. Two were dyed and look to be over tightened so they are a little smooshed haha

yes, early ones looked like that (and some haven't been dyed & squashed)
