Andy's RC10 build

hello All,

A couple years ago, I bought a huge lot of Andy's parts which included several composite chassis, a ton of standard parts and some prototype parts. Everything was new, but a little dirty from sitting around for the past 20 years. Some of the chassis were blank and didn't even have the Andy's logo molded in.

After sitting around in a box, I finally finished the first of the cars. I wound up dying the white parts red just to give it that old school look. I still have to get some additional hardware and install the universals, but it's pretty much finished. This car has:

Andy's Composite Chassis (standard)
Andy's Front Arms (short)
Andy's Castor Blocks
Andy's Battery Box
Andy's Rear Bulkhead
Andy's Rear Hubs
Andy's Rear Arms
Andy's Trans Brace (Prototype part)
MIP Transmission
Hot Trick Bell cranks
Tecnacraft Titanium Turnbuckles
Proline Chrome Wheels

Only thing I'm struggling to find is a body that fits over the chassis. The sides of the chassis match the Losi jrx pro, but the front of that body is too narrow. Does anyone have any suggestions on what may fit?

Regards,
Roger

Looks nice but that 10T tower is a bit off on it. ;)

Andy's made his chassis to fit his bodies but you can probably fit a Yoke Protech IV or Parma Unser body on it with some trimming. Other option would be to put a bomber shell on it since you've got the Andy's front and rear mounts already. 8)

Believe me, it took me a long time to finally decide to use that tower. It's slightly modified from stock because I re-drilled it to have the same upper mount location as the stock tower. I then trimmed off the excess parts just to make it look more like a buggy part vs. a truck part.

Thanks for the info on the bodies. I'll check those out to see it they look like they would fit.

Regards,
Roger

That's the Jammin Jumper body. I'm not sure if it will cover the entire chassis...but it definitely looks like a good option.

Unfortunately, it does not. That would have been a great build.
