Just another Worlds build

Finally got around to it, as I just couldn't pass on one at $199 shipped from AE.

Decided to leave the chassis stock for now, see how it does. Opted for one of Atomik Racing's HD1207TG servos, as I've found this product line to be excellent performers at a modest price. They're smooth, fast, powerful and only run about $35. The 1207 in particular is very comparable to the Savox SC1251, just half the price (and nicer looking).

Power system should be no surprise to anyone who follows any of my builds. Hobbywing Xerun V2.1 120SD ESC with a Xerun 10.5T blue can. I've just never seen anything to suggest that the Novak, LRP or Tekin systems give me any advantage for double the price. Went with Proline Suburbs MC for application of friction.

Anyway, just wanted to share. Opinions welcome!

And a family photo. Original wide arm on composite chassis and my original '94 CE (of which very little original remains)

Nice.

Is that 4th pic just a weird angle or did you somehow end up with mega rear toe-in?

Mostly camera angle, but there is a bit of positive camber with the manual recommended measurements on turn buckles. I plan to leave it that way until I see how it runs around the track. I am going to adjust the front camber more positive, though; my experience has been that so much negative camber causes them to plow through turns instead of making them.

Like the paint job! What paints did you use? I'm wanting to incorporate a touch of pink paint in my own build.
