Ok, I picked up my lot today. They are in alright condition, but I am going for a full resto probably for the pink and gold one. The black one doesn't really appeal to me though. And I know very little about these, so please give me some direction on what I need. I notice the shocks for the pink tub are different color then the gold tub (gray vs gold), are the gray ones original shocks? Thanks and any help is welcome! :D

EDIT: I was thinking about picking up one of those cleaning devices that uses some waves to clean stuff...ahh what are those call???

Hi jchung,

should you be considering a trade for the black chassis with parts without the tranny I might be interested. Otherwise have fun with those restos.

Ulttrasonic is the word you're looking for, and don't bother. Simple Green, Super Clean, Dynamite R/C motor spray and WD-40 will clean just about anything you have.

BTW, the diff on that gold chassis is an MIP pre-Stealth. Nice find.

BTW, part 2, I have an original in the bag Associated molded plastic wing in fluorescent pink that would go perfectly with that chassis if you want it. ;) If I am not wrong, I don't think the "grey" hard anodized shocks went with that pink chassis, but that was a little after my RC10 life, so I'm not positive. Actually, I donno what shocks went with that car, but I'd bet they had black top caps on them, regardless.

Thanks guys! At the moment I am a little short on cash...ok I am pretty much broke since I had to buy my textbooks and pay the balance on the tuition.

I am thinking if I should sell the black and gold ones. Then use the money to pick up a roller on Ebay and use the parts to restore the pink one. What do you guys think?

I had thought about selling all of them, but I just couldn't let the pink one go. I think it will look really nice once restored. :)

It's up to you and I know it's hard letting one go. The Pink chassis would definately look cool once restored. If you do decide to sell the black one I would be very interested in buying it from you.
