shoman24v's RC10T eBay buy and build thread

I got a killer deal on this RC10T from eBay. I threw in a bid just for the fun of it and won! Ended up being around $80 after a refund in shipping since I was close. The car was used only a few times from what I can tell. Everything is in very good condition.

I've purchased a few parts for it, and used a lot of extras from my World's car. No idea if I will run the car, maybe if I have a track to take it to. I still have to replace things like rusty ballstuds, and a bent hinge pin. Overall, she looks amazing.

Anyway, here are the photos and my progression as of today. I did a lot of cleaning, still a little yellow, but it adds to the age of the car.

1/4" CVD's built (waiting for bearings). If my current rims take a dump then I'll have to covert to 3/16", but for now I like this route.

Rear tires brought back to life - Will likely abandon these tires for something newer.

Thanks for the kind words.

Had to redue the suspension setup. The pistons were all number 1's so things weren't right. Fixed that with 2's in the rear and 3's up front. Much better.

I also put a spacer in the fronts, it was sitting taller than the rears. This could have been because of the shock kits I bought for the T2/T3's.

Nice truck! Where did you pick up the Lunsford turnbuckle kit from?

I called up Lunsford, let them know what I needed and they hooked it up.

:)
