Re: TRAXXAS WILDCAT BUILD
well i bought a bunch of nib traxxas wildcat parts off ebay plus i had some left over from my last traxxas wildcat. first i bought a orginal tamiya hotshot off the bay to use for parts since i got it for a really good deal and it was cheaper than buying all the gear parts and outdrive parts seperate. yes thats a jg hotshot front bumper since this is not going to be 100% correct i thought what the hell plus it looks cool

Re: TRAXXAS WILDCAT BUILD
here are some robbe cheyenne parts that are the same as the wildcat parts. the front shock towers are shorter, BUT in the traxxas manual as a option it shows how to cut down the stock shock towers and well when u do u end up with the robbe style frt shock towers.

Re: TRAXXAS WILDCAT BUILD
here is a pic of the tamiya VS traxxas gear boxes. very close to the same. the gears went in with no issues, but for some reason traxxas used little smaller bearings lucky i had some that fit perfect.

Re: TRAXXAS WILDCAT BUILD
well i went with the tamiya chassis since i dont have a traxxas chassis and finding one is going to be super hard to find. well this is as far as i can go since i dont have the rest of the traxxas wildcat/robbe/bluebird baja parts to finish her up.

Re: TRAXXAS WILDCAT BUILD
I'm glad you mentioned the bluebird parts, when I was searching for them for you I ran across some of the sponge shock shaft covers I needed for my Cheyenne
I'll keep my eyes out. Did you ask Crunchy if he had any more? He will dig for it!

It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

Re: TRAXXAS WILDCAT BUILD
found some white front shocks
i like how these mount to the hub rather than the lower arm. these white parts came off that bluebird baja growler i bought they are the same parts, but these have shock mounts while the traxxas ones dont and mount to the lower arms.
