870c to Works?

Post by wydraz »

Hi Guys,

I have an 870c that has fine pitch belts/pulleys, ae shocks and top brace so I'm wondering if it is pretty easy to make it a works 91 (or 93?) by getting a different chassis, towers and body?

Thanks,

Dan

Im no expert in the workings of the 870c Dan, but i think you'll need chassis, top deck, towers, suspension arms and a front belt?

Oh and tie rods too.....if you wanted to do it full on, it'll cost a whack, but you could go full carbon from FL too, think that belt you'll need is ZC653 for fine pitch?

It would not be too difficult to make an 870c look like a Works, with the right shock towers and suspension arms, but the magnesium bulkheads on the 870c would be the biggest tell that it is not an original Works.
