thanks for double posting the pic Red

it just made me notice these springs upfront don't have a damper in them.
Now I'm pretty curious too.

I could have double posted EVERY photo in the original post, like most web nitwits do.
Personally, I'm NOT a truck guy. In fact, I really can't stand them. However, I saw this truck used in an eBay ad for the company that makes those wheels, and they use it in their website. I have it on my desktop and haven't been able to stop looking at it for months. It's one of the single coolest R/C vehicles I've ever seen, and I even bought that HPI body to eventually cobble something together for myself someday.
I NEED to know more about it.

Probably shouldn't double post (I posted in your Tecna thread), but:
Welcome.
If memory serves me right, you are in Dearborn right? I just moving out of the Metro Area after 10 years... worked in Allen Park. where in Dearborn are you (you don't have to give me an address ) You obviously are a collector and I am surprised that we never bumped into one another. It is a shame you joined the forum now as opposed to 8 months ago just before I left.

BTW, I never paid much attention to the name (Henry Ford Middle or High? maybe), but is that the school at the corner of Oakwood and Rotunda in Dearborn? And who does that Bronco belong to? I know a couple of the Ford guys that owned awesome Broncos.

Mr. Lexan,
I live right by stout middle school, behind oakwood hospital,...so you were right on the money when Identifiying stout middle on the corner. The bronco they are "pulling" is actually mine. I am a regular at riders hobby in taylor, and have been in the hobby since I was 5 years old. Now 24, I have just started getting pictures of all my stuff, and things I have done over the years. I used to race every thursday night in wyandotte, Down river racing club, but now I seem to just show up and watch the goingson. Yes, its too bad that we never met.
The bronco is custom made, origninally it used tlt axles, but now rides on CNC rc4wd axles. The frame is custom, and for those of you who are wondering, it has coils, with resivor shocks in front. here are some other pictures of the truck, and thanks for all the kind words!:)

Early shot: before I re-built it.
