HI!... That's nothing. I've broken a ton of stuff. A lot of my RC stuff I run is for top speed runs. So when they crash it's not pretty. Just have no pics of the bad stuff.

My neighbor comes up and asks if he could try it. Sure why not I say. So this big Chevy Tahoe is coming towards us from down the street and the RC car is coming traveling in the same direction. Right when the car is even with the truck, he turns into the path of the truck and its promptly runs over by the Tahoe. I couldn't believe what had just happened. In all my years of running R/C cars I've never had one run over. My neighbor was not aware that the servo controls are reversed when coming towards you. He profusely apologized and said he would pay for all the damages. In the end he ponied up for another chassis, battery and motor.
That cracks me up only because it was the first time you had it out. I always figure if I hand somoene my controller then whatever damage ensues is on me. I guess it all depends how you look at it. I had a similar experience with my RC10GT except I was the one driving. I had just gotten past the engine break-in and had only opened it up for a pass or two when the the throttle linkage came loose. It did a couple of donuts and then into a curb at full throttle. I had the body off so parts flew everywhere. It was one of those

moments. I had to take the chassis for a visit with Dr. Vise and order quite a few parts. Even the receiver case popped open.

My E-Savage takes 2 packs and one day after goofing around with it I pulled one of the packs out to find this. I had been jumping it pretty hard that day so I'm not sure if that played a role in the demise of this pack or not, but whatever the case it was done for...

The Xray wouldn't have been cheap, I bet he was shocked at the price. Those parts you say he replaced doesn't cover everything dsmaged.
I let a young kid 5ish drive my severely boosted T4 at a BMX track which had had the potential to go totally pear shaped. They had no clue the value of everything but traction was low so I said why not. I figured he'd just mash the throttle and do donuts. Luckily enough the truck survived and the kid didn't crash it, if he could have got it up to speed it might have been a different story however.

I always think it's fun to hand it over to someone and see what happens. To me it's hilarious, but I guess it all depends on your sense of humor. I definitely get butterflies when I hand the controller over to the kids on our street, but they have so much fun with it I just can't help myself. I always get a good laugh out of it too. To most of them cars have 2 speeds; stop and full balls!
