Had to drill and "tap" the nose braces for this LWB configuration.
After the racing I had done with the JunkC10, I used its' setup on this car, 3 degree arm mounts/0 degree hubs in rear being the main things.

Nice car! Scr8p talked me out of running a Team Car less nice than that one.
I'm curious, why the transverse battery mounting?

With shorty pack the weight is still centered. I haven't calculated it or weighed it but this might even be better than a longitudinal battery. I also haven't been able to fit a fan under the body when the esc is in the side. I like the wiring better too. On the track, the car was unbelievably good.

after action report: TQ and win in 2wd buggy class
my first qualifier would have put me 4th in nitro 1/8 buggy, and still would have been in the A after the second qual.
two re-release worlds cars, a b44.2, a t4.1, and some other modern buggy went down.
a couple of veteran racers that did not bring out 2wd buggies b/c they thought track would not suit them were rethinking that after that first 5min no crash run.
The buggy handled great with nice turn-in, traction, handling the whoops and fair sized jumps and ruts.
I had to throw a newer front end though, it seems some of the original white parts can get super brittle, depending on how they were treated.
wheee
ps the RC10 GT-E has been born, check it out in the truck forum!

Ran it around on saturday and sunday, buggy was good, quick handled pretty well considering the junky track conditions.
didn't race it since I was busy with ebuggy and esp the RC10GT-E

An RC10 with a 17.5 and some boost is just wonderful.
