Those towers and the nose brace are real cool. Did they make these in glassfiber or carbon fiber too?

I think I can score 4 medium gold shocks in a lhs if you want to use those with these towers.

It looks like the 2nd part is right around the front wheel. You need to separate the ring from the main wheel, put it in the tire and then slide tire and ring over the front wheel.

I can offer the wheels and tires in this pic also:

They are never run and direct fits. The front diameter is larger than the original ultimas.
The color did not come out so well in the pic: they are fluo actually.
The 4 wheels and tires (unglued) are 40$ including worldwide shipping.

Not sure on other materials Mr. Ed. Seems like I've seen a few searching ultimas on this site. I might end up swapping out the shocks and towers and replace with the Duratrax shocks shown in the link. I'll post pics soon!

The rims are odd to me... I didn't notice with the tire insert attached that there is only one lip on the outer side of the fronts??? Thanks for the offer Mr. Ed, I may take you up on some shocks if you find a set.

I just noticed... did you cut down that body and slip it inside the chassis???

I know where those medium shocks are, it's just a bit out of my way and there's nothing much else in the shop making it worth the trip. So I'd kinda need to know upfront if you want the shocks or not. PM please

The body is from a desert gator; the sides were cut away but I left about 10mm which sits on the top of the turbo ultima chassis. So not slid inside. There's more pics on rc10talk of this version and a later one with side flanks. Let me know if you want the link.

Almost there... I need to mount the body so that it sits properly. I'll probably just use lexan and velcro as this rig will not likely run. I scored a lot of sweet, well maintained motors and the Kyosho Super Stock was included. I don't know if it's period correct, but it's Kyosho. One day I'll get around to making shock collars and do away with the zip ties although the zip ties are period correct lol!
