Nice, is that the final design layshaft? Wishbones do look stunning and like the pivot blocks and would also look stunning in white as well.

hi man, no that is my first prototype. The final design is on the paper underneath the car..notice it ? I used the arms on my optima mid CS for 4 packs now and they are holding up great. I hope to get this car running in time for the august race. Its a toss up between my Optima Mid CS or this one, but as the track is low traction and I don't want to take apart my CS gearbox, I hope to get the lazer in that race.

That motor plate looks reddish...it's not made from copper, is it? That would be pretty cool.

Those are GPM plates from BITD. Bought this car used and that was one of the hop ups that came with it. The driveline is really smooth.
A bit of trivia for everyone, the Tamiya TRF416X rear belt is the exact same length as the Lazer's ! its now inside the rear gearbox.
The steering is a bit too tight, so I will be doing some shimming tonight. I just need a pair of B4 slipper pads, shocks, and the car is ready to roll. Oh yeah, one of the pulleys on the layshaft is made by my machinist. So far seems smooth, need to test it out.
