Issue with my stealth on my Worlds Re Release
Hi guys, I have finally bought a new kit from my local hobby shop today. I have started the build process and immediately ran into a problem with the stealth tranny. The V2 slipper pads are rubbing against the motor plate when tightened down even a little. It is not functional as a result. Anyone else have this issue? If so, what can I do to remedy the situation? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Issue with my stealth on my Worlds Re Release
the B4 top shaft (which is what you have) has been known to have problems with where they machine the flats. Seems there is quite a variation. There are two options.
first, call associated and let them know, this is well known and they should be able to help you out.
second, you can get an upper shaft collar and open up the hole in the trans so that the pressure plates press on the collar and in turn the inner race of the bearing. if you look at the worlds re-re thread there is more information on this collar, I don't know the part number.
