Rc10 T2 buggy

Where to begin... After acquiring parts for different projects and changing directions midway this buggy finally took form. After seeing scraps b1.5 build awhile ago i always wanted to build something similar if i ever came across a t2 for a doner. Well after ditching my OIN build and all that other crap to run b4 wheels on a team car i had some parts and scored a t2 really cheap. This project is a runner, sort of a t2 OIN or b1.5 OIN,

Here is the start

t2 roller

tb2.jpg
added dyno tech front arms, wide gt axles. I also enlarged the front tower for the body to fit in. I would really like to put the rpm world tower on the front or a bigjeepz tower. But i'll focus on that when i start tuning it more.
tb4.jpg
for the back i am using 1.5 mounts and 1.5 hubs with b44 rear cva's avid flanged bearings, and what ever size crush tube that works, pretty sure they are b4.

tb7.jpg
for the body i am using a jconcepts illuzion for the RB5 it fits the chassis pretty well and i had to mod the front for the extended wheelbase of the t2 chassis. it also lines up with the t2 rear tower pretty well. If i get a buggy tower on there at some point i think the illuzion for the traxxas bandit will fit almost spot on.

tb13.jpg
i took out a tie rod last week first lap, so i just put it away and went back to my team car. it drives well, with a little bit of time with set up i am sure it would a treat to drive.
tb14.jpg
the rear t2 tower works well, i used the inner most holes i could.
tb11.jpg
and some rc18b wing mounts using the stock body mount position in the tower.

UNdertray for the T2 is made my board member TEMAN, he also has them for the rc10, and i think he might have them for b3 and t3 chassis.

The rpm rear end arm mounts are designed to fit snugly around the 2.25 stealth. You would need to make a custom transmission case.

You can also do a WOIN style rear. RPM width arms, original arm mounts, B44 CVD's, and B4 offset wheels.

So does this setup use a extra wide rear arm?

So many possible ways to be creative on this, I created a t2 chassis equipped buggy once but I did it by taking a worlds car rere and introducing the t2 chassis to it. Looked slick with all the team car white plastics with the more modern tub. Ended up unconverting it as no one wanted to buy it when I needed to thin down the herd, the chassis is still kicking around here somewhere.
