Snow day? S'no problem!

Post by markbt73 »

We got snow here in Portland, which is pretty rare. About 5 or 6 inches, with another few expected tonight. So I ended up with the day off. Naturally, it was time to go play, so I grabbed my old CC01 scaler and went out to make some tracks. It did pretty well, but it did get stuck a few times...

BTW, this thing is no longer for sale. I forgot how much fun it is...

I need to get the motivation to grab the big grizzly and see how it does in the snow. Can't be much worse than it does on grass lol

It only got stuck when the battery started to dump. Otherwise, it just barrels right on through.

Yeah, I only had the one, and it's worn down to a slick. I kept meaning to make a cover for it, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Nice! I only have one that's waterproof (my Prolite 4x4), but it's been so dang cold here, I haven't wanted to be outside. finally out of the sub-zero range, hopefully we'll see 30s and 40s soon.

Still find myself wanting a Kyosho Blizzard SR.........

In scared to run my dual brushless clod in the snow. It's only in the winter I regret building a race clod.

Mostly ice here... Not to mention it's colder than a ditch digger's nut sack outside.
