Also, I would like to mention that this transmission case is actually from the original US made mold tool. Although, the topshaft is from the B4 since most of those parts are readily available and a common upgrade for most. Therefore, it made the most sense to use that as opposed to remaking the old slipper plates since those would need to be re-made. This kit also comes with the original diff gear, and idler gear.

No end cap on the housing @ top shaft location in exploded view?

$109, although fair it makes the $30-$40 ebay stealths look like a bargin. The original trans came with a motor plate if I remember correctly and were $89?

Will be interesting how Tower prices them.

No, original was $120 on the box and was frequently discounted to a lower street price. This is a bargain when you figure inflation. Street price should be quite a bit lower.
