need a losi expert

i have 2 different styles of upper 5 link parts. one has 3 ribs and 1 has 4 ribs. is one earlier than the other?

the upper would be original release. I dont recognise the lower one

The 4 rib is an earlier one. A rib was prone to catching on a spring so they revised the design by removing one rib.

it looks longer also?

of all the jrx cars/parts Ive had never seen the revised one. :oops:
