Hi everybody,
I recently purchased a cat 98 to restore. I don't have receive the car for the moment to make a pictures.
I did not find the instruction manual but only that of the CAT2000.
Does anyone have this manual to send me ?
Or do you know the difference between this 2 versions ?
Thanks for your support.

can't help with a manual, but you can find an exploded diagram of the Cat 98 with all the part numbers here:
http://rcdocuments.com/schumacher-cat-98-exploded-view-pdf/
Differences are mainly the flat plate parts, chassis, top deck, front and rear shock mounts and upper link mounts. The steering arms have also changed as the 98 changed the steering geometry and moved the servo to the other side of the chassis. As the Cat 98 has laydown shocks it also uses CAT 2000EC wishbones.

Hi terry.sc,
Thnaks for the exploded diagram and for the diff.
Do you know if the box of the CAT 98 and CAT 2000 is the same or if this is a difference.
I like to restore my car in box art. So, the box art scheme paint is the same between 2000 and 98 or not ?
If you have a pic to the box of cat 98, i'm interested.

The CAT 2000 uses a different body to the later cars. The upright shocks of the original 2000 means when they moved to the laydown shocks with the 2000EC, Schumacher made a new bodyshell to cover the rear shock mounts.
