My Fundraiser for Charity - Locks of Love
It's been just about 2.5 years since my last hair cut and I am hoping I can have a bit of fun with this and the end result benefiting a great cause. Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under age 21 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. So not only will I be donating my hair once it's cut, but also raising some funding for the same cause leading up to the event targeted for the end of January 2014.
Sell a couple of things and if you can/are willing, please donate anything you can, $1, $5, $10, $50 or whatever are comfortable with.
My Personal Fundraiser Page and how you can donate:

More info on Locks of Love: http://www.locksoflove.org
Please help me help others! Thanks!

Re: My Fundraiser for Charity - Locks of Love
My wife donated a 22-inch long ponytail earlier this year.
Last time I had long hair myself was about ten years ago...
Good luck with the fundraiser!

Both my girls donated about 14 inches each about 9 months ago. As a side benefit, it's easier to brush their hair and there's less "product" in the bathroom.

Re: My Fundraiser for Charity - Locks of Love
My hair looks like and is the same length as yours scr8p. About the same color and everything. I even have a scruffy beard... Weird. I don't know how you could have just shoveled a lot of snow and still have clean hair. I just came in after 3 hours of shoveling in 4 degree weather and look like a drowned rat.
I've had long hair for 13 years now and am admittedly starting to get a little tired of it. In that time I've only had it pulled back in a ponytail maybe 6 or 7 times. I don't understand guys that have long hair who normally only wear it in one. Whats the point? It defeats the purpose in my mind. Anyway, I don't know if I'll ever get mine cut short but at least maybe to shoulder length. Now on the subject of Locks of Love. I've mainly only heard negative things about them. There's supposedly less shady hair donation organizations out there like Pantene Beautiful Lengths I think was one of them. At the end of the day though no matter who you donate to, It's always a good thing.
