1995 YZ10 project

New to the forum and thought I'd post some pics of my YZ10 project. This car was originally owned by Scott Brown and was raced in the A-main of the 1995 Ifmar Worlds. It was missing shocks, wheels, one of the nuts for the Suzuki hubs and the slipper when I received it. So far I've replaced all of the pieces except for the slipper. Anyone know which part number(s) I need for the slipper? I will be ordering a Team Blue Groove repro shell and undertray as well.

very nice mtn bkr! what are your plans for it? restoring it to the way scott had it, or you planning on running it?

I'm going to get it as close as I can to how Scott had it. He still has the body for it, so I plan on purchasing a reproduction body and asking him if he minds me painting it up to match the one he ran. Once it's fully restored it'll go up on my shelf.

Very cool.
Despite this being a '95 chassis, I noticed that the rear camber link plate is not present. Did Scott remove it as part of his setup (effectively using the '94 inner rear ballstud location)? Or because he ran this at the '95 Worlds and the Pavidis YZ10 was released afterwards with this plate, it was simply not an option for him at the time?

I noticed that link plate missing as well. I'll have to ask him about that.
Anyone know what part numbers I should look for as far as a slipper or main gear adapter?

Any one if part number ZR-641M will work on this car? It's the main gear adapter for the YR4.

Yes, with the correct shaft.

A little more progress made. Ended up buying ZR-641M and fitting it and an 87t Kimbrough spur to the car. I'll be ordering the TBG shell and undertray next. Will be stripping the chassis to clean it and rebuild the shocks as well.

Really interesting car and car's history You have there. An another real top driver's car on rc10talk member

. The first question that come to my mind when I saw this car is that wasn't Scott running for Team Losi at 1995 worlds no more? This come to my mind because there is an Reedy sticker in rear wing? All Team Losi team drivers did use Yokomo (when they arrived...) at 1995 worlds, but Reedy sticker and Team Losi on 90's do not match.

Jirka, you are correct. Scott was indeed running for Losi back then. The car was owned by 3 other people before it made it's way to me, so I'm pretty certain the wing has been changed on a few occasions.
For the layshaft I ended up using the one that was already on the car.
