New vintage build, and what is this chassis?

I picked this one up from Spydur week before last, part of a lot he scored. Was a mostly complete roller with 6 gear needing some love. I've since been through it, ditched the 6 gear for an RPM stealth, put a set of MIP truck bellcranks I had on it, some other sundries, new wheels & tires, and a Dynamite 3780 ESC with LRP Ultimo type 2 4,000 KV motor (that I think I wounded running with a sensorless ESC awhile back).

But........I have absolutely no clue what chassis this is. Was not drilled for stealth, and has no markings whatsoever. Was delaminating a little on the nose and pretty scarred at the very rear, but otherwise solid. The seller he bought the lot from was a dirt oval guy, so we were thinking it's probably a dirt oval chassis, but I've never seen one quite like it. It's light and fairly rigid, seemed like a good platform for a standard off-road buggy build (though nowhere near as tough as my custom 4mm carbon fiber unit). Any help would be appreciated!

duratrax, maybe trinity. one place made it, multiple people rebagged and sold it under their header.

Yes, as good as any other carbon chassis out there. One thing I did with mine, was to clean up the nose really well, soak in some ca glue, and clamp it tight with some clamps and polyethylene as a liner(won't stick to ca), then trim the nose back slightly to cleanup the chipped up nose and make it look new again.

Thanks, guys!

Yeah, I did glue the small section that was delaminating and clamped it in a vise. I did some clean up. but didn't spend a whole lot of time on it, as this things was put together to be beat on. Far less powerful than my destroyer buggy (new name for the 4mm carbon fiber CE buggy), but it's also quite a bit lighter.

just run a front bumper, and a chassis protector tape if you want to maintain the chassis in decent shape.

I have a RC10 like this also. I was told it was CC who made it? Mine in particular was re-bagged and sold under Trinity as told to me by the original owner. Which reminds me, I have to update that thread when my parts come back from the powdercoater 8)

Oh, get a rear kick-up on that pronto! Even if you have to chop an old beat-up chassis to make one, there's mega flex in that chassis :!:
