I started today an new project.
Will copy the original plates and the carbon is 2mm thick.
Will do the bumpper also out of carbon.
The main chassis is ready and it looks very high tech.

It's going to look very cool in carbon fiber but will the rear pod flex enough to allow for rear suspension?

This car will be in display use only.
But the flex with the 2mm carbon is pretty ok.

Looks great so far! I still can't believe you cut those out with only a Dremel! I'd hate to see what mine would look like with only a dremel

Well, after you have done as many parts as I have done so I promise you are good as Im. But I really think I can do better finish.
But now the car is ready so here it is.
I can say that the radioplate was an pain in the axx...
With that one I had many troubles with but I think the ready part is quite good looking.

What dremel bit did you used for your dremel to cut the carbon fiber? Was there any safety procaution you took cutting it. I heard graphite and resin dust that is created is hazardious which is why i been afraid to use me dremel. I was thinking of just using hack saw since you get less airborn dust but i don't think it gonna as nice finish... or needs more work...

You'll want to be wearing protective gloves & eyewear, anytime you use a Dremel...and for the carbon dust, you just want to avoid breathing it in. You'll still get carbon dust in the air using a hacksaw. I personally just wrap a bandanna around my face, from the nose down, but if you have a mouth & nose filter, that'll be even better. Heck, you could even pull your t-shirt up to cover your nose & mouth, in a pinch. You might look a bit funny doing that, mind you.

I just used a little cutting disk, I think it's about an inch in diameter. I first drill holes at any corners--especially inside corners--and then hacksaw all the long, straight lines first. I use the Dremel for the finer work, and a Dremel grinding stone or sanding drum bit to clean up and round the edges, then hit the edges with 400-grit sandpaper so everything is nice and smooth.

Lastly, I take the extra time to color all cut edges with black Sharpie marker, and seal the edges with CA glue. When you're done, the edges look nice and shiny black instead of raw and rough-cut.

When I cut the carbon I use an very strong vacum cleaner. The cleaner is about 3cm from the working place so allmost all debris is going in to the cleaner..
