Difference between the Mugen Bulldog and Mugen Bulldog II

Hello All, Does anyone know what differences there were between the Mugen Bulldog and the Bulldog II. That is besides the obvious change from the roll cage to the lexan body?

The Mugen have the roll cage and 2 alloy sway bar mount

The Bulldog 2 have plastic support for front bumper and the 2 sway bars
And the Lexan Bodyshell

I guess this is one of those that you either love or hate. The bulldog was my second R/C car after the super champ so I have always liked it. I found this chassis on ebay awhile back and it turned out to be in really good shape. Then I ran across...

Picked this one up yesterday along with almost another full car in spares. Going rebuild this up totaly stock.

Well I finally got one at a reasonable price :D I think after the Yokomo 834b this was the car I dreamt off most as a kid , I've always loved cage cars but I never thought I'd ever find a Bulldog at a reasonable price .

I have started restoring a mugen bulldog I recently picked up mainly as I used to race one back in the 80's at St Ives show ground and hoping to make this one a runner for the next vintage meet in Castle hill.

Hi mate,

Usually in a 4wd - depending on the motor, 1 to 2 feet is enough slip - probably a bit to much. Again it depends on the motor.

If you are using the standard 540 motor (silver can), then a brief squawk sound from the transmission slipping...
