Has anyone seen the reedy stick pack lipo?

Ran across this on ebay though it would be cool for rc10's as long as it is the same phisical size as a nimh stick pack it should fit and look somewhat vintage in the old rc10's

I dont wanna hack up my bulkheads and have to cut the bottoms out of the battery cups tho...

I wiuld just get new rere bulkheads but i like using the new style ones that dont need the spacers for the stealth and have the 6 outside holes on each side gone i like them better

You don't need to. It's a tight fit but they do fit

I run Vapextech 5000mAh NiMH packs with labels removed as I love the retro stick shape. No lipo issues to worry about either.

You can do better than that...HobbyPartz.com sells GensAce stick packs like the ones back in the day: 4000 mAh, 7.4V, 25c, for $28.54. I have a pair of these for my cars. 25% longer run-time than the linked Reedy battery, and cheaper. 8)

I have this reedy pack and it does not fit... at least not well. It came with my SC10RS. I can take a picture if you want, but because the wires come out on the end it has a clearance issue to the servo mount. You could cram it in there with a tight bend on the wires, but I don't think it's a good idea. The best-fitting pack I have which I tested in my gold pan is the venom 4100mah 25c. My Turnigy packs also fit just fine.

Why not run a shorty pack? I'm running some in my CE and they work out great.

SMC makes a 4300 mah pack for $35 that should provide plenty of run time
