Brought another XX - but whats the body?

So i've just recieved this very complete, if somewhat tired looking Double X - it came with everthing ready to run except for a battery charger & batteries in the transmitter... It also came with 3 packs of Trinity EX-Tech 2000 nicads & that legend of all ESCs - the Tekin 410K.
I'm not quite sure what to do with it yet - but it might become my runner/racer in place of the Kinwald car I already have!
Anyway here's some pictures which leads me onto the question... just what/who made the shell? It kind of looks like a Protoform shell that i've seen on another members XX on here, with the shape of the windows etc... but this one has two scoops (one on each side pod) .... perhaps there were two types of Proline/protoform shells?
The 410K after a quick clean-up - will hook it up later to see if it still works!

Interesting - Never seen those wheels before either.
Please don't tell us that you got this for £20.00 (it just wouldn't be fair)..........!!!

The wheels are Ballistic Buggy - the 'lot' included a pair of fronts new in the packet - they were quite popular with us Max Power mag reading youngsters Bitd
I did pick up a XX from a fellow racer for £20 - but its so beat-up there's almost no useable parts on it! This one was £80 inc postage which was OK I think - some of the spares it came with should help fix up the £20 one?

No - it was advertised on Oople
Came with a load of wheels/tyres also but just running through them, most of them are only fit for the bin, being either cracked or aesphetically very grim

Haha, yes there is a vintage section on there... & you get the odd vintage item crop up in the for sale section, as this buggy testifies. I prefer it when an item has a 'price' rather than battling it out at the last minute on eBay!
