Team Car Built for Racing --- non-WOIN

Here is my starting point, a gorgeous, run once and put away forever Team Car:

This last one shows the worst of the damage, a dinged up skid plate, bent nose brace, and a bent turnbuckle.
It even came with a contemporary Futaba TX/RX, Novak 610-HRV, Duratrax 18x1 Motor, and 1500mah NiCd. Those and the tires have been sold, which brought down my purchase price down to ridiculous $.
I was so happy and fast with my fuglyC10/JunkC10; I am looking forward to tuning and enhancing this beautiful buggy.
That said, WOIN seems tired to me, it seems like throwing as many new parts as possible at a car, and trying to emulate new cars but losing the essence of the old.
In this video at (1:30) my (other) car formerly known as a box of RC10T parts passes a Seanster-style RC10, and puts the hurt on B4.2/22/Schumi's:

My imagination is running wild with what the fresh Team Car will be able to do.
