Rebuilt teh diffs....they were so smooth, i thought they were ball diffs...the grease inside was like paste...so i soaked everything in simple green and scrubbed...relubed them with Mobil one synthetic grease...

Here is my "Clean" pile...everything has been scrubbed, rebuilt, relubed, and rust removed where needed...i would have it back together if my bearings were here...I still have to buff all the hinge pins to make them nice and smooth

Great job on the cleanup and polishing the parts, the resto is coming along nicely. The Optima Mid has tons of upgrade potential too, you can really "alumify" it if you want to go to town, from alloy rear arms & carriers, CVDs, alloy ball-raced bellcrank, alloy or titanium turnbuckles & tie rods, etc., etc. I share many of the aftermarket hop-up ideas I discovered that fit, in my OptiMutt project thread.
