This is my custom rad 2. Just a little bit more work to do on it, plus order a body for it.
I just found some wing mounts and they are on the way.

The reason I built this is because it was my first real kit car and I sold it to buy another car when I was in high school.
The original one that I had was upgraded with a Bullet chassis that had terrible flex.
To fix that I bolted a square, heavy metal bar to the bottom of the chassis.
It worked as I had no money at the time to do anything else.

This time I built the car as it should have been done in the first place.

Note: The white shock parts will make it onto my TRX-1 eventually and be replaced with black parts.

Nice job. Did you deanodize the gold aluminum chassis plate?

Sweet...maybe I like that chassis design because it's somewhat Optima Mid-like (if you disregard the 4WD differences).
