Hi everyone, longtime lurker and this is my first post. Anyway just recently got back into the RC10 after discovering the re-release. I want to upgrade the car I have and saw vultures on ebay asking for $125 for things like just the gear cover. THE GEAR COVER!! So I emailed RPM about re-releasing their treasure trove of parts and here is their response.

Dear Xspunge,
At present, there aren't any plans for RPM parts for the "new" RC10 from Associated. However, that can change at any time. If we see a strong enough demand, we may decide to open the RPM vaults and release some of our older parts at that time. Please continue to be patient with us and with a little luck, hopefully we'll have something more for you in the not too distant future. Take care and thank you for your interest and support of RPM products. If you have any other questions or comments, please feel free to send us another e-mail.


It does sound promising so if anyone else is interested in the retro RPM RC10 and RC10T parts please give them a shout out. They might not re-sell the parts but if our fellow owners emailed them then it surely can't hurt.

So you can contact RPM here [email protected] and ask for a re-release of parts. So thanks guys and keep up the great site. Help me (and everyone else) get the RPM parts back for sale.

I was wondering if RPM would be reproducing parts for the Team Associated RC10 now that the re-release is out? The RC10 re-release in itself is a good market but more importantly, it has renewed interest in RC10s and vintage racing. I am seeing people get out their old RC10 or picking up one of the many on Ebay at any time.
Hopefully RPM sees that the re-release itself is not the only market, the re-release has reopened a market for parts to upgrade original RC10s as well.

Dude! They have them in 5 different colors! That's wrong for a number of reasons. I'm going to let the current email swarm die off and see if I can ask to get a run of 3 degree arm mounts in the pink flesh color (edit - that's "Saddle-Sore Pink" according to their description). Wish me luck.

I bought some awhile back and attached them under the bumper of my brothers civic. Didn't notice for quite awhile.

I emailed them. I requested reproducing old rc10 parts and anything new they can dream up. Hopefully that doesn't mean more nut sacks.

I emailed them a few years ago and got that almost exact same boiler plate response telliming about if there is enough interest and you never know etc etc.

I believe scr8p is right. Too busy making small nut sacks for r/c cars. Genius idea. In case you needed to know which r/c car driver is really a douchebag deep down.

I'm for a flesh colored worlds chassis and related parts though if desire becomes reality.

Some funny stuff in this threadand I don't want to fall for that trap, but to get back on topic, I will email them as well. Just not now...like others said, all at once might be a bit much for them.
