1300GT's build.
Here's as much as I can do at present. The bearings are still in the post. Plans are to add turnbuckles and better bellcranks plus do the RCCA outdrive mod on the six gear. I'll be dropping in a mild brushless system too. Can't wait to run it.

Chris.

Looks good!
I dyed the nylon on my first RC10 orange, I've been thinking about doing the same with my re-re.

Very cool, I like the choice and Radiant homage.
Funny, I was wondering if anyone would take some liberties with dye since the new white re-re parts are not sacrilege to mess with like NIP old white parts.

Looks really sharp with the orange...the black on the shocks looks too much like Kyosho gold shocks for my taste...

Re: 1300GT's build.
Thanks fellas. Both the orange and black dyes are RIT's. The orange I used is called tangerine. I thought about whether to dye the parts or not for a couple of days and then just did it. I like the original white look but I wanted something different for this one. The kit wheels will be dyed black. I was going to leave them white but they look terrible when lined up beside the chassis. Gold wheels would be really cool though.

Tangerine is my favorite color Rit dye, I use it to match the competition orange pactra paint. Also matches very well to original JRX2 and JRXT wheels, which I happen to be a little partial to.
Very nice work on that car.

Another here for loving the tangerine dye. You should copyright that look, because I think one or two of us will be copying it!
Good work
