Ball diff size?

I am not sure where to put this thread so PLEASE feel free too move it too the appropriate thread.

I need too replace the diff in my MRC mt-10s and I am wondering if someone can give me the measurements of the rc10T ball diff. I mainly just need too know the height and width of the completed unit.

I can't find a stock gear anywhere and if a RC10T ball diff will fit that would be great.

Are you serious???? Oh man Let me know what they have and I might just buy it all. I need body mounts as well. If they have any mrc bodies that would be sweet as well, although that's not a huge deal.

I think I remember arms, gear set, and maybe a chassis? It's been a few weeks and I wasn't looking for those parts so u just saw them while skimming thru. Not sure if I will make it down tomorrow or next Monday

Oh man I would definitely be interested. I want too restore my mt-10s I picked up a few months ago too race in stock truck at topgear. Not too worried about winning, it would just be fun too race it.

Are you looking to use the gear too from a 10T diff or just the outdrives, rings, etc.?

If the gear fits I'd like too use it as well. A complete stealth diff would be ideal since parts are easy too get.

You'll need to match gear pitch then. Do you know the pitch of the MT-10's gears? If you know that and the number of teeth on the gear it'll help more in finding a possible replacement than just the height of the gear.

Outer diameter of a gear (the height of the diff) can be gotten by dividing the number of teeth + 2 by the gear pitch.

So for a 10T stealth diff that's 45t and 48p it's 45+2/48 = .979.

For imperial gears the result is in inches. For mod gears it's in mm.

I'm pretty sure it's a 48p gear. I'll have too look and count the teeth as well.

Thanks for the input
