Found this JR-X2 via a quick Google search. Looks fantastic - especially with the highlighted white lettering on the tyres

- Losi JR-X2
Does this belong to anyone here???

I've seen an RC10T in that exact same spot before. Looked up that picture and it shows his name is markmac2 on a different forum and he's from New Zealand.

Anyone else tried painting the lettering on the side of the tyres? If so, what did you use???

I've had some luck with white paint daubed on with a pencil-eraser; dip the eraser in the paint and sort of "rubber stamp" it on to the raised letters.
I have heard of other people using a white paint pen to fill in the outline-style letters, but haven't tried it myself.

I wonder if TLR will reproduce the JRX-2 kit similar to how Associated has done the RC10 buggy.

I hope so, but being a stadium truck kinda guy. The Junior Two would be better. Any Losi 2Wd stadium truck prior to 92 or so.

There, fixed it... athough I think JrxT would be better if you are asking for a truck... even though it WAS rereleased sometime in the LXT or later era for spec racing so a modern release would be a re re release

The price kind of surprised me on the RC10 Classic kit though, its listed at $250. Does this seem a bit high for an already designed kit? The B4.2 2WD Competition Kit is $260, It would seem R&D would make the newer buggy cost more.

I'm hoping that they have been taking notice of the RC10 re-re.....
This year, 2013, is the 25th Anniversary of the original release of the JRX-2 kit. Can't help thinking that TLR have missed a trick here

I also can't believe that they would make us wait until the 30th Anniversary to re-release it - that's another five years away....

I didnt realize this was the 25th Anniversary, It would be so cool to have a brand new JRX-2, although the 22 is only $180 so I might be tempted to buy that, instead. Ahhhh so many kits so little money.
In all fairness to TLR they have probably been busy with the 22-4 though along with the many different kits they offer and come up with. Should be interesting.

YES, YES, YES!!!! A brand new JRX-2 would be fantastic, plus like the re-re RC10, all those cheap spares!
Please TLR, we (collectively) beg you....

If losi does reproduce the JRX2 it would seem to really push a classic race class, all it would take is Kyosho to reproduce the Turbo Ultima and its another real class.
I would love to see the Kyosho Optima Mid reproduced (still one of the coolest looking buggies IMHO) even just to sit on the shelf. Interesting how the Optima Mid had an aluminium chassis and metal front steering hubs way back then.

My Wife doesn't even talk to me that dirty

I'd love to get a hold of a Turbo Ultima to sit with my Jrx Pro.
