Tamiya Hornet "1984"

Post by THE H.P FREAK »

HI!... Tamiya Hornet "1984". This one has been restored but has re-re body/decals and wheels. As soon as I can get my hands on a NIP vintage decal set I'll apply them.

Very nice! I've been thinking of picking up the new re-release kit!

I love those things. That and the goldpan are my all time favorites!

Beautiful work...nothing better. Like so many, this was my first "real" r/c car that got me hooked for life. Sadly it was lost for good as a child (no fault of my own - check my TC page for details) so I eventually acquired a re-re that I built and then decided I needed an original NIB to replace the one that was lost and scored one a few years ago. Still haven't run my re-re because it looks so nice on the shelf but I will...eventually. :)
