well Im certianly now bike expert but I had one similar to that. I was told it was a GT Dyno. Just my opnion but I am sure the MXRs know what it is. Good luck, it looks like a sweet bike

Definitely a Dyno or else a bootleg Dyno. You can tell by the way the top tube bends down right before the seat post at the frame stand. Looks like it's in good shape. When you get it, there should be some "D" stamps in the frame and/or fork somewhere. I'm sure it's probably mid-school (I'm an old school guy) but we should be able to help you out trying to ID it better when you have it in hand.

http://www.bmxmuseum.com is a great place to check out bikes. They've got a lot of Dynos up there.

thanks for the help you two :) , it seems you're both right about it being a dyno. i've been saying to my wife that i'm going to start restoring a bmx for each of us but she steamrollered ahead and bought this 'on a whim' oh well, it means i can focus on mine now

thanks again.

i think theres a few on here that do, i'm not collecting them as such, i just enjoy restoring things and i used to be really into bmxing, skateboarding and the like.
