Exceed-RC Forza (not mine)

A guy at work bought this for his son. The diff was acting crazy so he asked me to bring it home this weekend and take a look. I could tell as soon as I picked it up and spun a wheel that someone had gone Hercules on the wheels and they were just way too tight. Easy fix. I'll have to fire it up this weekend at some point and see what a 1/10th scale with a .18 and 2-speed tranny can do.

I had some other wrenching I wanted to do today so I didn't bother just yet. Perfect day out so I was working on the back deck. It sucks when you drop a screw though... Bye-Bye!

This thing isn't as crappy as I expected. Pretty hefty. The radio is pretty cheesy though. I'll try and get some video when I fire it up.

I personally like the exceed, redcat, hsp, and himoto rc's.
I have a Redcat groundpounder and a Redcat Lightning stk 1/10 electric touring/nascar. The car has taken a ton of abuse and never had a broken part. Only issues I have found with these is that redcat uses very very ;ight shock oil and never fills the shocks up enough. Change it for better shock oil and you're good to go.

While you have the car, could you measure the wheels. I am curious as too what offset they are and what size the wheel hex is. I'm hoping they would work on the Tamiya Rising Storm I just bought for my daughter.

Will do, but you're probably the only member here that would trust
me to provide the technical specs on an r/c item.
I've got a chicken on the smoker so I'll go get some measurements while I'm killing some time on a great afternoon. I don't have any sophisticated measuring devices, but I'll see what I can do.

hahahaha. I'll take the risk.
I'm hoping it's a 12mm hex.

Well, I lied... I found a pink ruler in my daughter's bedroom that tells me what to do in case of an emergency.
12mm hex I believe. Same radius on the wheel front and rear.
