RC10B2 / B3 / T3 Graphite - NIXconcepts

It's a CF chassis for RC10B2 or RC10B3 buggy (or RC10T3). I had to design separate front and rear bulkhead to match standard AE parts.
Those parts are made with rapid prototype method. Laser sintered nylon or SLS as it's called. With the right SLS material and mechanical design I believe those parts will cope full attack driving.
If you were interested - I will serve here chassis PDF and DXF drawings for those who have access to CNC machines. For those who don't have contacts, Jake (Seabass) signed up to machine chassis for you.
My prototype chassis were made by Fibre-Lyte. You can ask there also of course.
For the SLS parts I used Shapeways. Service and parts were perfect so I uploaded my 3d's there so you can easily order those also if you want.
Nice set of colours available: White, Black, Coral Red, Hot Pink, Royal Blue, Violet Purple.
Here are the chassis parts: (updated 2014/11)

I made also new arms to get that vintage look.
Be aware that SLS material has more flex than injection molded standard parts.
NIX91051
"Old look" front B2 arms.
Comment: Look is OK. Little bit more flex than standard. Drive tested on carpet track. Small difference compared to original arms. Some unpredictable car action. Maybe on a outdoor track difference would be hard to notice.
NIX91052
Custom front B2 arms
Comment: Not tested yet. Based on experience with NIX91051 I think these would work just fine.

NIX92551
"Old look" rear B2 arms.
Comment: Look is OK. Seems to be quite flexy. Drive tested on a carpet track. Not good to drive. Would not work outdoors either.
NIX92552
Custom rear B2 arms
Comment: Not tested yet. Based on experience with NIX91051 I think these would work just fine.

My car will hopefully be a Stock 17.5T runner for indoor offroad racing. I will start with standard AE arms but later test how much those SLS arms can deal.
Remember: If you order SLS parts or fab the chassis - this is a fully experimental hobby project. I can not be 100% sure about the design so you will do it at your own risk.
