you're welcome

now i know i'm gonna make at least ONE person very happy with this post.

so, you say you'd like to do a rpm worlds conversion to a tub chassis. you have all of the bits a pieces needed to do it. all except for those elusive (and expensive) worlds arms. or, you have some sort of narrow kick-up graphite chassis (c.c., andy's, rpm, etc.), and you need the long arms in the front to make up the distance. well, your wait is over.........................

i've been doing some research on these arms for a little while now, and i finally bought a set a couple days ago. well, they showed up today, and i was happy to find out that they are exactly what i was looking for.

dynotech racing make these replacement arms for the klein gas sprint car. but, they are the exact same dimensions as the front and rear rpm worlds arms. they're made out of white delrin. close to the rpm nylon in color, but not exactly the same. you can see a difference. i put the set on my c.c. worlds chassis, to see how they'd fit. the arms need to be rounded on the ends so they would clear the chassis, and the inside of the rear arms needed a little massaging around the arm mount to free the suspension up. but other than that, they fit real nice. they are dyeable, also. they currently are not on the website, but they do have them in stock if anyone is interested. well, mine were in stock anyway. here are the part numbers.

http://www.dynotech-racing.com

2700 - klein rear replacement a-arm ........ $8.00 per arm
2701 - klein front replacement a-arm ........$8.00 per arm

and, your welcome. :)

cool, thanks jay. :)

just to add some more about these arms. the dirt oval guys use these arms to convert their rc10gt's to a late model. from what i read, i don't know for sure, but they use b4 cvd's, b4 hub carriers, and wheels on them. i'm not sure if the track width using that set-up would be the same a rc10 buggy, but for the price of the arms, it might be worth a shot for you guys that want to run b4 rear rims on your vintage rc10's. i don't have any b4 parts, or i'd try it myself. you give them a call or send them an e-mail, too.

By the way, Chad is great to work with if you want something custom, too. I've known him for a very long time, and he will get you anything you need. I needed a new front shock tower for a very one-off sprint car, and came up with a drawing for Chad to work with. A week or two later, I had a brand new shock tower in the mailbox, and it was identical to my drawings...

i changed my original post just so there was no confusion......................

these arms are sold individually. they're $8.00 per arm. you need to buy 2 of each for a full set.

Wow Scr8p This is a VERY nice find.... Do you have the part numbers for these arms by any chance?

Do these guys also make other heavy duty parts that would fit the RC10?

I sent them an email last night, about 8 or 9 p.m. CST and they got back to me with in invoice in about 30 minutes. Seems to be quick turn around.

yes , also it is a good edm conversion for a 10t. you could use the standard rc-10 arms on the rear but they come up short to match the front track width. with the worlds/dynotech arms this way the suspension arms are the same dimensions and geometry as the 10t/gt just narrower. ive seen these conversions run on ovals and they are fast. it all has to do with keeping the hinge pin mounting points close to the same front and rear for optimal weight transfer, front to rear and corner to corner. which is one of the reasons why they got away from the wide style noseplate. i was considering building one of these myself with my spare oval truck chassis.

a nice find for sure, they look great and even have an extra shock mounting hole! Perfect for the runner I intend to build! They almost look like proto arms
