Im pickn up a rc10 lot sunday evening and he says comes with a chain drive tranny but not seen any to kinda get an idea for which one it might be so i know what it is before i purchase this stuff.Apparently theyve been only oval raced one is the graphite chassis sprint car wanna be style other is swiss cheesed goldpan both with mccallister oval shock systems and ton of old style wheels and tires.a kyosho motor meter and digital rpm reader and bunch other stuff oh yea 3 new unpainted oval bodies and four basher bodies.and some really ancient batteries that look yellow in shrink wrap.Hope there is some vintage tires on them wheels.

he said got it all in 1990 so who knows what i will end up with.Couldnt tell much from the far away pics.
But if have a chain drive tranny for the rc10 show a pic here please thanks DON

Team Pit Stop made the most often seen chain drive tranny.
MIP had a chain version of the 4wd, but if it's an oval car it's probably the TPS.

Could be a
Team Pit Stop:
Top right:
Although I have seen some
TrackMaster belt-drives converted to chain and some home-brewed chain setups, so you never know.
Team F&D made a chain-drive tranny for the Ultima that I think had gold-anodized aluminum side plates.
Post some pics once you get it.

Would be pretty uncomplicated to make a custom chain drive out of an Optima diff.
Hmmm.

Well i just picked up a big time capsule.1990 TO1995 two caddilac rc10s with MIP sp-1 tranny and the team pit stop chain drive tranny, both cars have titanium dogbones and theres one dogbone with white balls on ends that titanium.Think someone here was looking one of those.Losi alloy bell crank steering novak 75mghtz receiver and two novak 4 escs two mcCallister shock mount kits for oval ,7 sets proline wheels and new tires
foam tire sets too and a few new donuts.Man it was like christmas going through all the boxes of stuff .MSC new unused, white nockoffs a few stock caddilac parts with oil soak header cards

oh yeah there was a MIP metal pin you put on your shirt think ive seen someone have as avatar here.
The guy said they made him stop using the TEAM Pit stop chain drive cause he was way faster than the rest so he bought the MIP Tranny for it.The other has stock 6 gear trans and im a tear it down see if it has the gear conversion or not in it.No dirt on them at all but alot of foam dust from racing. Also has a camaro unpainted body in the box tail light area looks like the 80s but the frontend looks newer, could it be a RC10DS body?If so might use on my GRAND Motorsports ds only conversion. even found the rc10 driver new too.Im so hyped cant think of everything

Not at home so cant look right at it and type had to leave after dropped it off at home. Will update monday evening.don
