Shipping pissed me off ($8 for first class with 1.69 actual cost) and the anno is ok but not great (areas are showing bare metal) but for the price they were ok. I probably won't buy again tho.

Unfortunately no. I wish the price of their plain was as cheap as the black anno, I would just do it myself.

I use mcmaster Carr for aluminum nuts, washers, some screws....locknuts...etc and just anno them myself. The only thing they don't have is small pattern aluminum and 100 degree aluminum. Grrrr

I use Advanced Precision Anodizing in Wood Village. Minimum is just $20 to strip and $40 to anno. Let me know if you want to split a batch. I've taken over 150 items for one color and still been charged only the minimum fee. Super nice people. I have a few items to do in black soon, and I'd like to do copper penny or maybe red also.

These were all done by them

Seriously???? I have searched all over and never saw there name.

So it's roughly $60 total to strip and anno some parts? That's cheap as heck and I suddnely need to do a few rigs. Man that is awesome.

Can you give me thir address or at least where they're at?

I have a Clod chassis and a Groundpounder chassis to anno in Black I'd be up for splitting a batch.

Is it the same cost for one color and then another cost for another color?

The strip price is $20 color doesn't matter, and the anno is $40 per color- but yes; cheap! I recommend picking up the parts after strip and polish them or at least go over them. If there is any tape or sticker residue the anno won't come off in those places so I always look then over and then return them. No extra charge or anything. Polishing them gives a much better finish.

let me know when you guys are ready. It will only take me a night to strip both trucks down.

Oh does it matter if the parts are painted instead of anno'd first?

Yes, you will need to strip the paint first. The soda will only take off anno

Dot4 brake fluid will usually do the trick
