I'm looking at a Kyosho Stadium Baja Beetle on ebay.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxI can find very little info on the web about. As far as I can see it is a Kyosho Outrage ST with a Beetle body.
Can anyone give me any more info? Release date, common parts with other models etc.

If it´s NIB it could be a lot - If it´s used, same range as a used Outrage ST.

IMO, it´s not a special sought after car.

I've got a NIB and a new built. didn't pay much for either of them really. Like Dennis said, they aren't that sought after, so when they sell the prices are all over the place. It's probably based more on how many drinks the bidder had the night the auction ended. I'm super nerdy about VW stuff, so I probably would be the ideal buyer for these... I did wait around forever and find both of mine for good prices though. You'll see NIB's pop up for sale at crazy prices, but they never sell...

If the one you're looking at is a decent price, I'd say go for it. Parts are easy to find, it shares parts and hop ups with other cars, the bodies are reproduced by Team Butt Groove (same as Field Baja Beetle), etc. It's a cool car and has a lot going for it.

I'm out of town right now, but have all the paperwork with my NIB if you need instructions, part numbers, etc.

Well I bought it for £31 plus postage. I'll see what it's like when it arrives.

Can someone tell me when this was released? It has an MSC, which puts it mid-90s or before.

My NIB has 1997 printed on it.
